Head of Athena right, hair in long arc along brow, wearing crested Attic helmet ornamented with three laurel leaves and vine scroll, the end pointing at the terminal leaf on the visor / ΑΘΕ, owl standing right, head facing; olive sprig with berry and crescent moon behind, all within incuse square. Starr Group V.B, pl. XXIII, 10. Kroll 8. HGC 4, 1596 (465-460 BC). Boldly struck from artistic dies on lustrous flan.
