Murph asked her father Joseph (Matthew McConaughey) to fix her model after it mysteriously fell, only learning later that Joseph was the "ghost" responsible. This two-piece cast resin Apollo module model is hand-painted black, silver-, gold-, and copper-color and applied with "United States" and American flag decals. It is intentionally distressed by production to appear damaged with missing feet and cracks to its antennae, thrusters, and landing strut. It exhibits adhesive residue and paint chipping from age.
