1908 $5 MS64+ PCGS. CAC. Ex: The Fairmont Collection. The 1908 Indian half eagle is popular as a type coin, being the first year of issue and also a relatively plentiful date. The current coin stands apart from most of its peers with both a Plus designation and CAC approval. Medium yellow-gold surfaces complement well-defined headdress feathers. A few light field marks prevent Gem classification but are not bothersome.
