A Pair of French Louis XV Style Tulipwood and Gilt Metal-Mounted Meuble d'Appui, late 19th century , with original white and grey marble tops with canted corners above a scrolling acanthus decorated frieze, the central cupboard door with Sèvres-style oval blue porcelain mount flanked by canted stiles with caryatid mounts, on a breakfront platform base 87cm by 41cm by 100cm Cabinet One - The marble top with various scratches and some fritting. Timber is slightly dry. Central cupboard door is split (as photographed). Some small wormholes, mainly around the base, which have been partly filled and polished. Cabinet Two - the marble top with some staining, ring marks, fritting and some small chips. Cupboard door with shrinkage splits (as photographed).
