18th-19th c. Chinese Pale Jade Boy w/ Dog Carving


Chinese pale jade carving depicting a boy with a dog. In a lovely light colored green jade. The boy has a bat resting on his back. Overall a very high quality of carving and a desirable subject. Early Qing in style, material, and technique. Provenance: Private Minneapolis Collection - collected in China prior to 1985. Height: 1 1/4 in x width: 2 1/4 in x depth: 1 1/4 in. Weight: 56.12 grams. Condition: No major chips, cracks, losses, or restorations. Light wear throughout.
