Maria Martinez (San Ildefonso Pueblo, 1887-1980) and Santana Martinez (San Ildefonso Pueblo, 1909-2002). Blackware ceramic plate with a feather motif along the face. Signed by both artists along the underside. Provenance: From the distinguished collection of the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis, MN - proceeds from this sale will benefit their mission. Height: 1 1/2 in x diameter: 12 in. Walker Condition:There are no major chips, cracks, or losses. Minor scratches and light scuffing consistent with use. Three felt feet have been added to the bottom for the plate. There is a partial label affixed to the underside.
