A set of four Murano style glass wall lights of stylised palm leaf design on brass sconces 52 cm long CONDITION REPORTS To clarify the brass sconces for the four Murano palm lights are all plain and rectangular. The "shell" shaped sconces in the photograph are part of LOT 163A and are NOT PART OF THIS LOT. One of the mounts needs to be straightened a bit in order to get the glass fitting in as slightly misshapen. The fittings themselves are tarnished, scratched and pitted, however, as you can see from the image, the majority of it is not on full show as obscured by the glass when in position. Unknown if in one working orrder. One of the shades is significantly lighter and feels different to touch than the others but to the naked eye does not look that different. One of the shades - the one that fits into the base which is a little bit bent, has some roughness / chips to the back of a couple of the fronds, again not really visible to the piece but you can feel them. All in need of a good clean. Internal flaws such as air bubbles, etc. The brass fittings are all in place and secured. General wear and tear conducive with age and use and being in storage for a while. See images for further detail.
